Image result for medical robotics eye surgery   picturesRobotic surgery is routinely used for all surgeries, but it has stated to become a common replacement for traditional open surgery in many specialty fields, mostly in urology and gynecology.  The Da Vinci robot is very skillful and performs prostatectomies, nephrectomies, and hysterectomies, and the more recently the talk around the hospitals it's also increasingly being used for cardiac valve repair and other seriously complex surgeries.

Not sure how I would feel about a robot performing surgery on me just yet... make me a cup of coffee sure... cut me open... might need to think twice.

Hahaha! I think I'd rather have the robot work on me (guided by a surgeon) than a person.

Ummm you're more trusting than me. Personal experience of when the CNC has just done it's own thing, or the 3D printer... Go in for an ingrown toenail and it decides you need a tonsillectomy.
